Our early childhood program aims to provide an environment and educational experience which acknowledges the innate spirituality of every child, fosters the child’s ability to wonder, experience awe, overcome difficulties, love others and reflect God, their Creator. Our play-based learning philosophy helps develop agency in our children and occurs in an environment where our educators provide the framework and provocations for learning opportunities.
Through play-based teaching, our early years program allows students to discover, create and imagine important learning outcomes. Children build a stronger understanding of their world, and develop better problem solving and critical thinking skills, when they learn through play.
Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) of Australia is the foundation document used in conjunction with the National Quality Standard (NQS) to program learning experiences where children develop a strong sense of identity and wellbeing, and become confident and involved learners who are connected with and contribute to their world.
